GOBLINS!!!

So I have a story, which will inevitably turn into a comic as far as I'm concerned (it's a large project, though... so we'll see). Either way, I wanted to do some sketching for it, and do some more cartoony stuff, since that was always one of my stronger areas, even though I go through periods where I try to get as far away from that as possible (stipple, for instance). These are sketches of the main character. He doesn't have a name yet, but he's a goblin... and a thief.




As you can see, I was digging the oni mouth towards the end of the sketching on this character, as I don't want to go completely cliche' with the design, and I thought it would be a cool little thing. Thoughts?
